Obertraun: 514 m above sea level, 780 inhabitants, village centre offers cozy inns, grocery stores, horse riding facilities, boat mooring for boat trips. Public beach, east-shore hiking trail or Koppental hiking trail. For mountaineers there are the climbs up to the Dachstein Plateau, Sarsteinhütte, 2 km from the town lies the valley station of the Dachstein cable car to the ice and mammoth cave and the Five Fingers on the viewing platform Krippenstein. The World Heritage village Hallstatt 5 km. Bad Ischl 25 km

Accommodation: holiday village of Obertraun

Location: quiet location on the lake to the town center and train station approx. 5 minutes walk, to the valley station of the cableway Krippenstein about 2 km.
Facilities at the resort: A total of 59 chalets with 176 beds.
Central building with reception. Restaurant and cafe / bar and terrace.
Wellness area with indoor swimming pool (included in price). Against charge: sauna area with steam bath, massage, beauty
Chalets: A total of 59 chalets. All chalets are furnished with wooden furniture in the upper alpine style. Standard equipment in all chalets equal:
Living room with Swedish stove (wood against charge at the reception available) and flat-screen satellite TV, fully equipped luxury kitchen with combination microwave and oven, induction cooker with at least 2 hotplates, dishwasher, balcony or terrace with garden furniture. All double rooms have their own flat-screen TV. In the bathrooms are partly showers, partly bathtubs. Floor coverings in the huts in different ways: wood, carpet, ceramic tile.
Parking: On arrival and departure day can be pulled up in front of the chalet for loading of the luggage. In the immediate vicinity is 1 parking lot per chalet. Additional parking at the central parking lot.

Type I: Chalet Hallstaettersee (chalet, semi-detached house) - max. 4 adults + 2 children (up to 15.9 years)
Ground floor: kitchen, dining area, living area.
1st floor: 2 bedrooms each with bath or shower / toilet, balcony accessible from both rooms
There are 20 chalets type I available.

Type II: Chalet Attersee - maximum of 6 adults
Ground floor: As chalet type I + bath or shower and separate toilet
1st floor: 3 bedrooms, each with its own flat-screen TV. 2 rooms with private bathroom with bath or shower / toilet, balcony accessible from two rooms
There are 4 chalets type II available.

Type III: Wolfgang Chalet - a maximum of 6 adults
As chalet Attersee
In addition, a sauna on the ground floor (included in the price).
A total of 22 chalets type III are available!

Type IV: Chalet Mondsee - maximum 8 people
Ground floor: kitchen, dining area, living area, bedroom with double bed and bath or shower / toilet
1st floor: 3 bedrooms, each with its own flat-screen TV. Each room has a private bath or shower / toilet, sauna with shower room (included in the price).
A total of 13 chalets type IV are currently available - increase planned for 2013!
