Program Itinerary:

1st day: Individual arrival in Bad Goisern.

You will receive your travel documents at your accommodation

Overnight stay in Bad Goisern.

2nd day: Introductory cycling tour: Lake Hallstättersee

~ 30 km, difference in altitude á 357 m / â 357 m

You cycle along the eastern shore of the Lake to Obertraun. Here you can visit the Dachstein Adventure World with its giant ice caves and spectacular cable car. The cycling trail continues to Hallstatt, charming and historic lake-side village and UNESCO World Heritage site. From here it is only a short ride back to your hotel.

3rd day day off – our tip:

Swimming in Hallstättersee – max 10 to 20 degrees – or Wolfganglake till 26 degrees.

4^th day Canoeing on Lake Hallstättersee (approx. 4h)

The  lakes  of  the  Salzkammergut,  embedded  in  the  dramatic  Alpine  landscape,  are predestined for all sorts of water sports activities. After a short introduction you head out on the calm lake and explore the most beautiful parts of the lake and its shore.

5^th day: Climbing Workshop for beginners in climbing hall Bad Ischl (approx. 3-4h)

Playful introduction in the world of sport climbing. Assistance will be provided by a qualified trainer. The climbing hall in Bad Ischl offers at nearly 800m² climbing fun for every ability level. The bistro area, which is adjoining to the climbing hall, invites for a cosy get-together afterwards.

6th day: day off – our tip:

Hiking along the Traunreiterweg – family relaxing hiking trail, figures and legends path – wonderful view to the valley; extra tip: Archery service with 3 D parcour incl. equipment and and coaching.

 7^th day  A night in the mountains at Goisererhütte

Hiking to the Goisererhütte: ~ 6 km, 4 hrs, difference in altitude á 1083 m / â 10 m

The short but steep ascent to the Goisererhütte mountain lodge is well worth the effort. Once at the lodge you can explore further to the summit of Mount Kalmberg or the “Kalmoos church”, a cave in which Protestants attended services in secret during the Counterreformation.

8^th day: after a hearty breakfast you descent to the valley .

Today a trip to Bad Ischl or Lake Wolfgangsee would be definitely worthwhile. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern

9^th day: day off – our tip:

Excursion to Gosau valley – rpund hiking tour Gosausee or cable car to the Zwieselalm,

family adventure park in Gosau

10th day: Guided tour through Koppenbrüller Cave, approx. 1,5 hours

The water-bearing Koppenbrüller Cave is located in the valley and can be accessed via a short walk along a secure trail by the charming Koppentraun river. During the 1 hour cave tours, guests gain insight into the development of the caves and into the underground waterways of the inside of the Dachstein. Pathways secured against flooding mean that guests can visit in safety, even in bad weather!

The restaurant has got the seal of quality. It means, that he has to use in his kitchen just products from Austria. The production is 100%  made in Austria and can be traceable any time.

Most of the ingredients in the kitchen are from regional farmers and producers.
for example: fish from Hallstättersee, ingredients which are produced from the Austrian Bundesforste,
sheep yoghurt from Eisl farmer from Wolfgangsee, duck meat and chicken meat from the organic farmer in Vorchdorf aso. The detail information you find in the menu.

Wellness:
The wellness area offers a solar heated outdoor swimmingpool  (6 x 8m) , sauna, steambath and infrared cabin.

All water for using of the hotel is heated by solar energy. All cleaning powders are organic.

Notes on staying at an Alpine lodge:

• You must bring your own sleeping bag and pillow case - a hut sleeping bag does not provide sufficient warmth. Blankets and pillowcases are NOT available in the cabins due to Covid19;
• Bring your own mouth/nose mask
• On most huts, card payment is not possible. Take enough cash with you for food and drinks.

In case of bad weather the program can be changed 

Dogs on request – it is not allowed to bring them to the sleeping room. Overnight would be in winter dog cottage. Extra payment on the spot. In Austria you have to use anytime a dog lead and on some places it has to use a muzzle.
