Advent on Lake Wolfgangsee with its Advent market and Christmas market in St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen and Strobl is an unforgettable experience in the Salzkammergut. While in St. Wolfgang candlelight and torchlight as well as warming fireplaces lend the town a homely atmosphere and you can stroll between the solidly built market stalls, visitors to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen can expect a baroque Advent scene. As a perfect complement, Strobl presents itself as a nativity scene village - with an oversized nativity scene landscape on the lakeshore, the wildlife park and a living nativity scene.
