The course of your tour

Day 1: Individual arrival

Individual arrival in Abersee on Lake Wolfgang by car or public transport and check-in at Hotel Carossa.

Day 2: Winter Adventure on the Postalm

After breakfast, a shuttle bus will take you comfortably from Strobl up to the Postalm – Austria’s largest contiguous alpine pasture and a true winter paradise. Whether you're looking for active adventure or peaceful relaxation, the Postalm offers a variety of ways to enjoy the day your own way.

Discover the well-groomed trails while cross-country skiing, take a quiet winter hike through the snow-covered landscape, or enjoy a leisurely walk with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Several rustic huts invite you to take a warming break, offering regional specialties in a cozy atmosphere.

In the late afternoon, the shuttle will bring you back to Abersee, where you can unwind and enjoy a quiet evening.

Day 3: Winter hike and Relaxation at Wellness Alm

Today, you’ll start directly from the hotel with a hike through the picturesque Blinklingmoos – a unique nature and European conservation area on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. Following the romantic Bürglstein loop trail, the path leads past frozen bays, snow-covered trees, and—if you're lucky—sparkling winter sunshine.

In the afternoon, the journey continues to St. Wolfgang, where the Wellness Alm awaits you. Surrounded by a snowy mountain backdrop, you'll find deep relaxation: panoramic saunas, quiet rooms with views of the wintry landscape, and a stylish atmosphere invite you to unwind.

A perfect day that strikes the ideal balance between activity and relaxation.

Day 4: Discover and enjoy Salzburg

After breakfast, you’ll take a public bus* to Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart and a true cultural treasure. Your day begins with a hike on the Mönchsberg, leading you to one of the most beautiful viewpoints in the city. From above, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the Old Town, the Hohensalzburg Fortress, and the surrounding winter forest.

Afterwards, you’ll head to one of Salzburg’s most historic dining venues – the St. Peter Stiftskeller – for a well-deserved break. Here, you’ll enjoy not only the cozy atmosphere, but also the famous Salzburger Nockerl, served in its original form in this traditional restaurant.

Following a relaxed afternoon in Salzburg’s Old Town and a final glimpse of the festively illuminated city, you’ll return by bus to Abersee.
