Location: The Hotel Goldenes Schiff, which has been run as an inn since 1821, is situated in a prime location, directly next to the Traun River. The Location reminds of the salt transport, which played an essential role for Bad Ischl and the hotel Goldenes Schiff until 1877. Nearby you find the famous pastry shop Zauner, in a pedestrian zone. Restaurants and shops are only 50m away, the Eurothermen Resort Thermal Spa and the open air pool approx. 500m, the train station approx. 600m and the Imperial Villa approx. 850 meters. The “Katrin-Seilbahn” (cable car) is located at a distance of approx. 2.5km.

Facilities: The 3^rd generation of the Gruber family welcomes you to the traditional hotel, which was renovated on a grand scale in 2021, with a spacious, modern lobby.
