Village sightseeing - The Weisse Rössl am Wolfgangsee and boat ride to St.Gilgen1pm depature from the Salzkammergut Touristik towards Strobl - along the shore of the lake to St.Wolfgang. This much sung about village is visited yearly by thousands of tourists. The Weisses Rössl just as much as the famous winged altar from Michael Pacher in the parish church or the romantic market square!
The Rössl musical comedy has become world famous: translated into 17 languages with 8 world hits and staged over a thousand times . The creators Ralph Benatzky, Robert Stolz and Robert Gilbert suceeded in honouring the lake Wolfgang and at the same time making a love declaration.
At 15:15 you take the ship from St.Wolfgang Markt to St.Gilgen; You are awaited by the bus driver in St.Gilgen at 4pm.
