could. "The eternal struggle between man and the mountain", the Watzmann, who calls the son of the mountain farmers, the inner struggle of the "Recordings" with himself until he
eventually rises to conquer the Watzmann - with the necessary seriousness and a touch of pathos offered, this story is in itself good for an entertaining evening.
With one or the other shot wit and of course with the times dramatic and evocative, sometimes crazy-spirited music between rock and Schuhplattler - offered of course live - reached the piece of high humorous class, without having to sink to the level of cracking leather beer tent humor. And so even the non-Alpine residents follow the actors in the audience like "kit on to the mountain peaks (...) up to the calves in a cow patty." "The Watzmann" runs like a recurrent phenomenon by Wolfgang Ambros now 33-year long career unique. He wanted to escape this curse, "but it's net". Thus he is again answered the call of the mountain. Inspired by the dedication of Joesi Prokopetz and Rudi Dolezal, and the promises of Christopher Fälbl he could not resist the allure of standing back with his long-term companions on the stage. When Watzmann he convinced not only as singer but as a narrator skillfully leads the
eerily beautiful "Alpine Saga".
Joesi Prokopetz:
The name Joesi Prokopetz could actually introduce a synonym for versatility. Far his creative range. As he promised, at the new production Watzmann the role of the father and the servant to play, the cornerstone was laid for the new production. Together with Rudi Dolezal
(Doro) is it a modern and funny version succeeded.
Christoph Fälbl: He brings in his dual role as a dashing son of a farmer and hunchbacked servant of two completely contrasting characters convincingly on stage. The Vienna has been chosen as the 1991 Watzmann casting "Bua" and embodies this role like no other.
