Before committing the Rolling Stones their celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Charlie Watts will again travel to the Salzkammergut on Thursday the 22th March and on Saturday the 24th March 2012 to give the Lehar Theater in Bad Ischl (Upper) from 20 clock with his amazing band The ABC & D of Boogie Woogie two concerts. After the two wildly acclaimed concert 2 years ago in Bad Ischl you can safely assume again that the band that performs in the meantime, around the globe, the Lehar Theatre will again transform into a cauldron.
The band consists of Axel Zwingenberger, the 19th since its Age as "Ambassador of Boogie Woogie" travel worldwide and is certainly among the best and most famous boogie pianists in the world. British critic dubbed him "Boogie champion of the world" about which he is particularly happy, since he composed not only creative and innovative but like no other facet of classic boogie woogie and blues piano illuminates and fulfills its rousing interpretations of life.
The only 35 year old Briton Ben Waters is one for some time about the emerging and fast boogie pianists in the world. After being in the 80's a TV show with Axel Zwingenberger, Charlie Watts and Dave Green has seen, he began playing the piano and is now considered the initiator of "The ABC & D of Boogie Woogie" Ben has been with Jools Holland, Chuck Berry Ray Davies, Mick Jagger and Jerry Lee Lewis played. The UK Times has knighted him as "one of the genre's best pianists."
Charlie Watts, drummer since 1962, the greatest rock n roll band in the world, need not be presented in detail. Since his early days he is the "swing" and has remained true to his many projects off the Rolling Stones repeatedly stressed his love for the boogie woogie, blues and jazz. Together with his childhood friend Dave Green, who now has become one of the best "double bass player" in the world, they form the rhythm section of this unique band.
